Just bought a Sanyo inch HD !080 60 TV. Sounds isnt that great,will this play TV besides DVD?

It's great for the price and a good boom to it...just remember you will need a receiver if you want to put the surround sound on anything else but the DVD player so factor that in

The system was ok if you just wanted is as a surround sound for the DVD player I wanted it to hook to the TV also but it didn't have any out put jacks for the TV.

I guess you get what you pay for...the dvd player is very slow in responding, as well as not working well with the new tv. At first we thought it was the tv, but then we hooked up our old player and instantly both the picture and sound were beautiful. We will be exchanging this system for another :(

Inexpensive system

I guess it was a good value, but when I got it hooked up, after quite a while because of poor instructions, I turned it on and realized there was no volume control. At least none that I could find. And it wasn't just normal volume, it was trying to duplicate a theater, which probably most people might want, but not me. I returned it! I took my old system apart and was able to repair it.

What I was looking for was a surround sound system that allowed me to connect my TV, PS3, Laptop, or whatever else I own. The speaker were only usable when you were using the DVD player attachment. This means you cannot use the speakers for regular television or anything else but the attached DVD unit. This product does works, but in the end this was not what I am looking for. If you are looking for something that allows you to use surround sound feature on multiply systems, this product is not for you.

The Curtis Premium 5.1CH DVD Home Theater System description lists "Audio Inputs", but there aren't any.

This is really a "DVD Player with Speakers". You can only play DVDs through the sound system. It cannot be used with cable TV, Streaming, DVR, etc.

Also, I am not sure how the "450W" is measured. My 100W system is much louder than this system.

There are no "Audio Inputs" as listed.

The product was very cheap, I could not ever get the surround sound on my TV, it didn't have HDMI, the dvd's did not play right could not get a good picture. I ended up purchasing another Home Theater System. I will be returning this item.

I had to return it, would not work, got sound but no picture. I doubled checked all hookups, could not get it to work. Spend more money & get a good system.
